Info about Printing
cheap a3 printer
An a3 printer is an interesting machine. It's one of the few printers
that have gone from non-existent, to blasting on to the scene, to fading
again. The latter can be attributed to the rise in popularity of a4
printers. They're a little smaller and a little less expensive. An a3
printer doesn't work quite the same way. The smaller the a3 machine, the
more you're going to have to pay for it. That said, overall, prices for
a3 have gone down across the board, which is simply related to demand.
This has been enormously beneficial for those who need a3 prints for
business purposes. The fading of mainstream interest has worked in their
favor. This is especially the case for those involved with art,
photography, or those in need of advertising posters. This can also be
looked at in another manor. Those who are interested in producing
posters at home can now take advantage of discounted prices.
Another big advantage to owning an a3 printer is that most of them are
PictBridge-compatible. This means you will be able to print directly
from many digital cameras. In some cases, you will also be able to print
from a DV camcorder or a mobile phone. A computer is not necessary in
these instances. Of course, if you're looking to produce an a3 print
then most of what you're printing will come from the computer, but it's
still nice to know you have other options.
The price range for the a3 printer is
enormous. There are some models that can be found selling for close to
$10,000 and others that sell for close to $50. There are certain models
that stick to specific price ranges. For instance, Hewlett Packard
models will often be found in the a3 printer value range - between $250
and $1,000. Epson offers a great discount model. And OKI sells the big
industrial models.
A few other printer companies have attempted to enter the a3 printer market, but for best
results, consider sticking with the three listed above.
